A few weeks ago, for family home evening, our friend John took us flying. {So I guess technically we weren't really home.} We had an awesome time. John let the boys be really involved. He taught them how to do all the pre-flight checks. They followed him around and asked a ton of questions. I thought they were going to jump out of their skin they were so excited.

Unfortunately, once Nate moved to the back he got a little air sick. Thank goodness John remembered some barf bags!
So, even though the boys didn't like flying in the back of the plane, they did say they had a blast and can't wait to go again. Of course they both love being able to pilot the plane. The only part they didn't enjoy was when John showed them the "floating penny" trick. They screamed like little girls when the plane started to dive. It was hilarious.
We are so thankful for friends that take care of us and help us to learn new things.
