Ahhh.....Mexico

If you want to know a random fact about our family, here's a great one.
We love Rocky Point.
We've gone several times with the Young Men, and we've gone for vacations and now we are starting to go for Christmas.
This year we were only able to stay for a few days, but they were three amazing days. Plus, we had some family and good friends come with us and you can never go wrong with that combination.

Here's our condo that we shared with the Penrods. It was really nice.

Our view from the balcony.

Our first night in Rocky Point we went to a poorer section of town and did a hot dog dinner. Everyone worked hard and we had a really good time.

The second day we relaxed all morning. We also took an opportunity to take some family photos for the Penrods.

Then we got together with the missionaries that evening. We each had a family and bought them food and clothing then we delivered it to them. It was such a sweet experience to see their reactions and to be a part of these people's lives even for just a few minutes.

Then we went back to the Richardson's condo and partied all night. We had the best shrimp tacos ever, all thanks to Bishop's secret sauce.....which I got the recipe for!

And then, because it was the eve of New Year's Eve, we went out and lit fireworks.

You know it's a bad sign when Jared is running away from a firework....

The girls dancing for me...

At one point, Jared shot a smaller firework at Reagan. Of course I wasn't ready with the camera, so Breinn made Reagan do it again.

This was her injury....

We started messing around because sometimes the fireworks show had a little stall....

The next morning.....how do you get four girls to get up and start getting ready? You send Uncle Bub in with a camera...

Breinn loved this stinking duck, so she had to pose with it.

And then the real adventure began....Shopping!

This kid took Kim for a lot of money. It's his eyes....she was mesmorized. ;)

Don't feed the seals!

Thomas loved Uncle Shane's poncho so he had to get one too...Jared calls it their mexican snuggies.

Sadly, no one bought the platypus.

But, we had a great time and we can't wait to go back again.

We ♥ Mexico!
