It's the most wonderful time of the year.
4th of July!
This year we FINALLY got Tom Porter's headstone set. That was a nice little service that the boys were able to do.
Then we had the parade. It's the best in the land.
This year was Jared's 20th high school reunion. It was kind of funny because he didn't want to ride on the float at first. But when I told him that his kids had been waiting ALL YEAR to shoot him with water guns while he was on the float. So like a good dad he rode the float.
And then they had to go and soak their cousin on the Little League All-Star float.
And of course the fireworks show is amazing.
And then we had practice for the Hunger Games trials.
And then there is just the beautiful mountain scenery.
Dorothy was right.
There's no place like home.
